Inside, the cabinet space is divided into five separate racks, sized to accommodate dumbbells, kettlebells, and other types of workout equipment, allowing you to stash all your workout essentials inside. Since the whole thing is a mirror, you can see your exact form as you execute a movement, making it easy to compare to the trainer who is also onscreen.
The workouts, by the way, are tailored for viewing in portrait orientation, with the trainers standing front and center, demonstrating the proper form for you to mimic. The upper part of the mirror has an integrated 32-inch touchscreen display running the iFit interactive platform, allowing you to find and load video workouts led by the outfit’s roster of trainers. The NordicTrack Vault is, basically, an upright cabinet, with a sliding door that’s covered by a mirror measuring 60 x 24 inches (height x width) and a set of speakers at the bottom. It’s a big departure from the outfit, which specializes in treadmills, stationary bikes, and similar traditional gym machines, finally adding an option to their lineup that’s a lot less daunting for folks who don’t have the space for their large workout equipment. That’s right, NordicTrack is straight out ripping off the “fitness computer in a mirror” design, giving folks an upright mirror with an integrated touchscreen computer that’s running the outfit’s iFit interactive platform. The NordicTrack Vault takes that same design and adds a shallow cabinet in the back, allowing you to use your smart fitness mirror to hold your collection of workout equipment. By far, its biggest advantage is the fact that it’s just an upright mirror, making it incredibly simple to integrate into anyone’s home. It blew up around the time lockdowns closed up every gym in most of the world and got big enough that Lululemon outright bought it to add to their portfolio of fitness brands.
